The biggest mistake men make is not having enough confidence when trying to pick up girls. Chicks can sense your lack of self confidence the minute you open your mouth. While you might sometimes get a date, your success rate is probably pretty low.
So what can you do? Check out these stupid mistakes most guys make when taking to girls. Acknowledge and erase them from your game!
First, never open up with a yes/no question. “Mind if I sit here?” “Can I buy you a drink?” “Do you come here often?” All are terrible openers! Your goal is the get her talking and have an interesting conversation.
Second, always go for eye contact with her. Girls love it when a guy can speak to her and keep his eyes locked on hers. It shows maturity and will set you apart from all the other guys that are trying to pull her. Now, you don’t need to stare her down, but try to spend 75% of the conversation making eye contact.
Third, skip the job interview questions. You know, the stupid stuff that goes nowhere: “Where are you from?”, “Where do you work?”, “Seen any good movies lately?” and other mindless questions that are never interesting.
Instead, try to get her opinion on something. For example, most girls love sappy movies. Tell her that a friend was asking you for recommendations for a good second date movie and you want her opinions on the best romanic comedies. This approach works great, but you have to prepare yourself ahead of time and know a few things about the subject so you can actually discuss it with her.
Finally, always be ready to let her go. Once you’ve got her attention, you need to show her that you’re not a clingy guy. Don’t be afraid to step outside to make a phone call or go to the bar and chat up the bartender for a few minutes. If she’s really interested, she’ll come over your way again soon. If not, then go back to her in 10 minutes with another good, interesting topic and keep chatting her up.
